Another exciting week awaits at Charters Towers State High School!

Students can look forward to Breakfast Club each morning, the Rise Up Gym Program, Junior and Senior Parades, and of course our delicious tuckshop specials throughout the week.

A reminder that the Combined Schools Formal will be held Friday 24.07.26 at the Arthur Titley Centre. We can't wait to see our Year 11 and Year 12 students dressed up and celebrating this special milestone together. It's sure to be a fantastic evening filled with unforgettable memories.

E-scooters and e-bikes are a popular way for students to get around, but the rules are changing. 🛴🚲

From 1 July 2026, new laws will begin rolling out including changes to rider requirements, fines, speed limits and illegal devices.

The Charters Towers Dance Troupe will be performing at the Charters Towers Central State School Fete!

Come along, cheer on our talented dancers, and enjoy a fantastic day at the fete with great entertainment, food, stalls, and plenty of fun for the whole family.

𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝙪𝙣 𝙍𝙪𝙣 🎉

What a fantastic way to wrap up Youth Week and Term 2! Our annual Colour Fun Run was filled with laughter, energy and plenty of colour as students came together to celebrate the end of a busy term.

It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved, encouraging one another and embracing the fun while creating memories with their friends. From the first burst of colour to the final dash across the finish line, the smiles said it all!

A huge thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who helped organise and run the event, ensuring it was a safe, enjoyable and successful afternoon for everyone. Your support made the day possible.

We hope everyone enjoyed finishing the term with a splash of colour and we wish all of our students, families and staff a safe, happy and well-deserved holiday break.
