Boots Neilson brings a bold, story-driven style to branding, editorial, and portrait photography — often with a strong connection to rural and regional Australia.

Her work has been recognised with major awards, including Finalist in the Portrait category for the 2024 Icon Awards, and People’s Choice winner at the Percival Portrait Prize. Boots is a Master of Photography with AIPP and a consistent finalist across national competitions.

Boots is a long-time Aus Prize team member, and we're really excited to see her joining the judging team for the 2025 Australian Photographic Prize!
