Racing Round Aus

So we took the helmet international.
I attended a 4 day Bali dirtbike tour with some old friends and made some new friends. There was a group of about 8. Given mostly yzf250x to rip around Indonesia. We were based out of kintamani and rode from the resort to tackle the roads and traffic, rainforests, hills, hills and more hills, rain, rain and more rain and then had a play around the volcano. The single trails were epic and the culture and farming experience of riding through the bush and seeing the stuff a normal tourist wouldnt see was eye opening.
This riding was like nothing I’ve ever done, although out of my depth i loved the challenge snd every bitnofnit, the crew and guides we had were on song all week. The pool was heated and the Bintang was cold at the end of each day after getting soaked with rain.
Highly recommend this tour and I’ll definatly be going back.

Don River Dash 2025
What a wild weekend! The track was unreal this year with more racing lines and water crossings than ever.

Day 1 threw us a curveball—halfway through lap 1 a water crossing dislodged the seat. Had to raw-dog it the entire day 😅 but still managed to salvage 11th.

Day 2, the seat was zip-tied back on and we sent it. Found the good lines, pushed hard, battled all day, and crossed in 7th for the day—finishing 8th outright overall.

2025 race season is upon us real quick. We have a few big events penciled in for the year and alot of little events also as young River is lining up for his first season of demo 50s on the peewee so we are hitting the mx tracks again.

Don river dash 2024.
With the don river dash only a few weeks away and a few people asking if I’ll be attending.
I’ll thought I’d make a post to inform everyone I won’t be racing. Things have not lined up to make drd work for this year. The family and I love this race so we will be planning a return in 2025.
