Tonight, we say goodbye to our sweet little Delta. While you didn't like cuddles, you made us smile with all your popcorning. We will miss you!

Have this little family living on my block! The parents were "yelling" at the car, saying you shall not pass! All I wanted to do was drive down my driveway to my house 🙄 took 10 minutes for them to move away far enough for me to pass without having to be worried about running them over.
For those of you who don't know, these guys are plovers. They lay their eggs in open areas, then wander around the area with their babies (if they are lucky enough to hatch). Their survival instinct is to encourage the babies to lay flat on the ground while 1 parent swoops and the other plays the broken wing scenario in the hopes to lure predators away. These babies hatched next door at my parents place (in the horses yards!) and have moved in with me apparently.

Haven't posted in a while. I am sure most of you will know the feeling of constantly being on the go - work, study, family.

We added a new member to the family yesterday. Meet Nami! Yep, I've jumped on the One Piece bandwagon however, I made sure to look up the meaning of Nami before settling on it. Nami is 'beautiful/wave/red apple' in Japanese (though I am sure there are other translations for different languages out there).

Such a sweet little girl, loves to cuddle. My girls accepted her like she was always a member of the herd.
