Walking for R U OK!
๐Kick-off has begun and will run till the 22nd of May.
Did you know that 65,000 Australians attempt to take their life each year? We believe that gives us 65,000 reasons to get active for a great cause!
๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธHelp Kane and I raise $1000 for this amazing charity.
As an added incentive, we will walk (not run) 1km (between us) for every $10 donated... if the $1000 is raised that is 100kms that we have to walk between us.
If you know us, you know we don't like cardio, nope, not even walking ๐ต
Kane and I have started it off with a $150 donation, that's 15kms to walk only 85 left to go.

Leg day. By far my least favourite day.
Almost every week my lower back decides it wants hurt and the struggle for leg day grows.
So what gets me to the gym?
The reminder that most of the time I will walk out after legs day feeling better than I went in. The warm up and exercises help my back feel a little better.
It's a challenge every week but that's half the fun.

Minor change but big achievement with my hex bar deadlifts this week.
It's been well over 12 months since I've had this in my program. It's a very difficult exercise for me to do because of my lower back pain.
The past 10 weeks I have been slowly increasing the weight and working on ROM.
This week I managed to take the weight to the floor, this is a HUGE achievement for me ๐ฅณ
