Hello (in)Visible community,
You're warmly invited to join us at QSY HQ for the very first session of (in)Visible Movie Club, a cosy, community space to watch, feel, and talk about films from around the world.
We're kicking things off with a curated selection of short films, intimate, powerful stories from diverse and international voices, followed by an open discussion after each one.
No film knowledge needed, just bring your curiosity, your feelings, and your willingness to share. Snacks, good company, and great cinema await.
Come ready to be moved, surprised, and maybe see a little of yourself on screen..

Acknowledgement of Country ❤️💛🖤
Our team would like to acknowledge that our team are currently working and residing on the stolen Wurundjeri, Woi Wurrung and Boonwurrung lands of the Kulin nation in Naarm ('melbourne'). We would like to pay our respect to elders past & present. As well as extending our respect to any other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals in our communities. Even as people of colour, our team are still settlers living on unceded, colonised land, where sovereignty was never ceded nor have treaties been signed. This land always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

This IDAHOBIT, we're naming the fight and celebrating the community that keeps showing up anyway.
Homophobia, biphobia, intersexphobia and transphobia are not just personal struggles but they are political realities. Especially for those of us navigating them alongside racism and discrimination.
But our joy? That's political too.
