Now, as they celebrate the birth of their baby girl, they stand on the edge of a new chapter. In three years, they’ll be eligible for Permanent Residence in the ACT, proving that perseverance turns obstacles into stepping stones.

Kuenzang and Yeshey came to Australia 🇦🇺 from Bhutan 🇧🇹 with big dreams but were overwhelmed by visa challenges. Kuenzang wanted to return to Bhutan after many years of uncertainty, but Yeshey was determined to stay and fight for their future. The couple was extremely torn in their decisions.
