After having 5 does only kindle DOAs over the past couple weeks, this litter is the light at the end of a tunnel! A very anticipated litter from one of my absolute favourite does, Arcadia Experiment has successfully given birth to 3 pudgey beans! 🥳

So far I’m thinking she has a Siamese sable and two smoke pearls, but I’ll know for sure in a few days!

The 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Rabbit Show was a fun but exhausting day. It was lovely to catch up with friends I don't get to see at my local shows often, and to see all the awesome exhibits on the day! Kylie is an awesome judge, and it was a pleasure to show under her yesterday.

As far as results go I was happy with how the buns did. I took a total of 6 nethies, and while I didn’t get any ccs I did get a couple firsts, and one of my favourite kits of the season took home Best Kitten in Show!

I’m loving the body on this brood type junior doe. She’s solid and thick all the way through, with a full chest and a nice coat. She’s not a show doe for sure, but she has some great qualities, and a sweet personality 😊

While everything I have worth taking photos of is entered in an upcoming show, I figured I’d take a picture of my freshly mixed feed instead.

I feed unlimited hay, and a mix of Vella rabbit, Barastoc rabbit, hygain fibre essentials, black oil sunflower seeds, and rolled oats. Everything has a purpose in my mix, and the buns seem to thrive on it. They also get fresh greens a few times a week, and fruit and veg when something looks good at the shops 🍎

Cute lil doe kit who got her ring today. She does have an older half sister who I might keep instead of her, but we'll see!

I'm a little bit in love with this doe. She’s not perfect, no rabbit is, but I’m quite happy for her to replace her mum, who is leaving to help another breeder in April.
