We're proud to share that Hindmarsh projects took home awards across multiple categories:

🏆 Australian War Memorial Bean Building and Central Energy Plant – Professional Excellence Award, Research, Development & Technology, Commercial Construction: $60 million plus

🏆 Woden Green – High Commendation Award, Residential Construction: $60 Million Plus

The ceremonial key handover to University House marked the completion of one of Hindmarsh’s longest projects, a milestone years in the making and one our team is very proud to have achieved.

Following the destructive storm on Monday 20 January 2020 in Canberra, University House building sustained extensive damage caused by the rain and hail affecting all areas of the roof, all services, the hotel, bar, restaurant and student accommodation, requiring the building to close for significant hazmat remediation repairs and refurbishment.

Together with the Australian National University, consultants and subcontractors, the project team have been working collaboratively to restore the glory of this Canberran icon, ensuring the Commonwealth Heritage listing of University House was at the core in producing a high-quality result.
