A 4.75% pay rise for award workers means real relief as prices rise.

Union members campaigned for this, while the business lobby argued for below-inflation pay rises that would have only seen workers fall further behind.

It's also a big win for our 100,000 lowest-paid workers who will see their pay packets increase by almost 6%, which sets a stronger minimum wage floor for every working Australian.
