Azooa is currently preparing a response to RFQTS 17064 and weโre looking to connect with a suitably qualified Joint & Coalition Integration & Interoperability Lead to support Army Headquarters within the Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC).
This is a standout opportunity for someone who understands how modern Defence capability depends on interoperability across Land, Joint, and Coalition environments. Sitting within LNICโs Advice function, this role will help lead Armyโs joint and coalition integration efforts, ensuring alignment with coalition standards and enabling delivery of integrated Land Combat System (LCS) capability.

๐น Work across acquisition, sustainment, and operational integration activities
๐ ๏ธ What youโll be doing:
๐น Providing hands-on technical leadership across system-of-systems integration
๐น Leading planning for coalition activities, conferences, working groups, and design reviews
๐น Developing integration artefacts including System Security Plans, Communications Access Requests, Key Management Plans, Joining/Exiting Instructions, and training programs
๐น Delivering training and mentoring to ADF personnel
๐น Providing technical advice on in-service CIS architecture, mission systems, deployable infrastructure, and coalition networks
๐น Supporting Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities and remediation work
๐น Managing coalition validation environments, distributed networks, circuits, and cryptographic systems
๐น Producing technical reports, assessments, and ongoing integration advice outputs

Weโd love to hear from people with experience in:
๐น Communications engineering and network integration leadership
๐น Defence Architectural Frameworks and C4ISR standards
๐น ABCANZ and FMN standards
๐น LAN/WAN design and integration
๐น Tactical communications, mission systems, SATCOM, routing, switching, and secure networks
๐น Virtualisation and Microsoft enterprise environments
โญ Highly regarded:
๐น 10+ yearsโ experience in Defence communications engineering
๐น Experience with JP 222 / Mission Partner Environment
๐น Exposure to CIOG-managed strategic networks
๐น Network security and monitoring systems
๐น Knowledge of ABCANZ 2100 series, deployable CIS operations, or ITIL/service delivery frameworks
๐ Location: Symonston, ACT (onsite)

Start: 1 July 2026
๐ End: 30 June 2028
๐ Extensions: Up to 3 x 12-month extensions
๐ Workload: Up to 230 days per financial year
โ๏ธ Travel: Domestic and international travel required
๐ Clearance: NV1 minimum (NV2 upgrade may be required)
โณ Probation: 3 months
๐ฐ Rate guidance: Max $160/hour incl. super | Azooa recommended $140โ$150/hour incl. super for a competitive submission
