Helping ACT

It was wonderful to join colleagues across the Assembly today to support Helping ACT’s fundraiser to help keep Trudie on the road.

Trudie is HelpingACT’s much-loved ute, used to deliver essential goods and tow Foodie, their food trailer, so they can continue providing practical support and free meals to people across Canberra.

Mohammed’s recent Medal of the Order of Australia is also a well-deserved recognition of his years of service to the ACT community.

Thank you and congratulations to Mohammed, HelpingACT team, and everyone who has contributed to keeping this important work moving.
