If you’re like most women over 40 the gym can be a very intimidating place but when you’re with someone who knows what they’re doing and other women like yourself it can be an extremely motivating place
When you train in small groups of women, women tend to motivate each other and push each other so that you all get some incredible results

For so many women as we age pain and discomfort in the back is very common.
This is usually the result of sitting for long periods of time, carrying too much weight, not exercising and keeping fit, or a natural deterioration of the bones due to age and diet.
The biggest and strongest muscle in the body is the glute (bum) and when it is kept strong through movement and exercise the lower back and spine can be protected from carrying the load of the body.
Using a resistance band when exercising is a great way to start to improve and strengthen that glute muscle to assist with supporting your spine and body. Click below to download an exercise you can do in the privacy of your own home. Its not a pretty exercise but it is effective. Enjoy!
