Rona Quaran Tina - upcycle Typo plastic bag dress with rose.

This was completed whilst in 14 day quarantine in a hotel in Cairns out of plastic bags destin for landfill.

I have a passion for using old, discarded or claimed objects, by repurposing them and turning them into a thing of beauty.

This dress has been just a vision in my head for some years and has finally come to fruition. I aim to have this along with my Optic Art - eye glasses lens dress and my Ghost Net dress in future exhibitions to highlight our need for thoughtful consumerism and protecting our environment for future generations.
