🍃Life update-
I’ve had a lot of people ask lately if I’m coming back to the business and what’s been happening, so I thought I’d share with you all. Back in May we moved in to our new home, and I had my second hernia repair. In July when we all had covid, the cough gave me another hernia. I also have an ongoing nerve issue with my leg which is under investigation and continued puzzlement from medical professionals. It’s painful and frustrating and I’m completely ready to chop it off most the time. I have been wanting to come back to the business, but to be honest I’m just not sure. I’m not sure if and when I’ll be ready but when I do, I’ll let you all know. My work as an EA is great and tiring at the same time so it’s nice to have that at the moment. Hopefully I will find time and energy for Effry as well at some point, I still love effrything about it, it’s just not something I can commit to at the moment. My boys are wondrous and amaze me every day, I’m doing my best to soak them in at this beautiful young age while not letting my physical problems impact too much (easier said than done). And.. If anyone has had any experience with multiple hernias I’d love to hear from you with any rehab/prevention techniques you’ve found!

So yesterday I sent this message to my husband. He was in the shed and I was clearing out our youngest’s clothes that are now too small for him. He got really upset that he had to say goodbye to his favourite shirt in the world (Batman.. need I say more?!). I got really upset with him and was already in the feels that he’d never wear zippy onesies again.. and that I’d never have a baby again. Of course hubby came in with all the comfort and love. But I’m still sad, I look forward to all the things that big kids bring, but it’s the end of an era in our house, and as we start to move homes in a few weeks I’m sure this will happen again. This has always been their home. We had babies, losses, love and frustration and this change is really big for all of us. It’s a very busy time at the moment trying to get final build things organised and start moving so please excuse my absence from socials. Of course send messages and I’ll get back to them when I can. How long did you feel the pain of “growing kids” for? Or were you stoked to be past it? Would love to know! 😘

So we all know logos are really well thought out (well, they should be) and symbolic of the business right? So what’s with my circle 🔘 🤷🏻‍♀️ Unity. Community. A never ending cycle. Nature. Limitless. Caring for the planet. Wholeness. And I really wanted an element of makeup in there so we went with a mascara brush stroke. I love it. It makes me happy. In fact, looking at circles instills a sense of happiness, youthfulness and freedom… so keep on looking if you need a break 💆🏽

Brain. Overload. So. Many. Things.
Yesterday I did a photoshoot to show off the beautiful Effry products and the colour range. Now I need to get them up on the website so you can start shopping! (Just FYI- some people already are 😁) Also trying to mix and blend and fill orders, and have also recently just got a job two days a week at school (I’m also an EA 🙋🏻‍♀️), and juggling the family life and health problems. *insert brain overload here*
But I’m here, and excited, and motivated as heck! This brand is about so much more than selling products that are good for you, in time you will see just how much! Happy Sunday lovely humans 😍
