e-Kiddna Event Management
Written by Jennifer Reeves……..
After 26 years, the time has come to gently close the chapter on e-Kiddna Event Management.
This business was built with love, ambition, passion and creativity by my beautiful sister, Jayne Caswell. I had the privilege of having a such close relationship with her professionally, but especially personally.
We specialized in medical conferences and a couple of gala charity balls each year. It was a lot of hard work and long hours, yet a lot of fun and travel as well, and we loved it. The business never advertised, it grew organically through referrals and thrived as a very successful sister act!
Since Jayne tragically passed away, I continued the e-Kiddna business in a small way for a couple of years. I have worked on closing down the business for a while, in my own time, piece by piece when I have had the emotional strength to do so. All the loose ends have finally been tied up (and there were a lot!) and I am at peace now to finally let e-Kiddna rest.
To our contractors, clients, staff over the years, suppliers, venues and delegates & sponsors of events – my heartfelt gratitude goes to you, for being part of our story. Your kindness, support and collaboration over the years will always be appreciated. Thank you for the memories.
In the coming weeks, our website will be retiring.
I welcome you to take a moment to watch the memorial video in honour of our darling Jayne who will live forever in our hearts.
xx

Last weekend was the annual conference in Noosa for the the GESQ (a society for Gastroenterologists in Qld). Sadly after Jayne passed away, the conference was handed over to an industry colleague that Jayne respected and knew from before she even started her business. It was an upsetting and hard task to hand over not just the conference, but a 21 year legacy of running the event, and being the Secretariat for the society and it’s members. This memory below is worth sharing. Jayne loved the “wow factor” and the poolside entertainers for the welcome reception dinner certainly wowed the crowd. The GESQ Noosa Update was a special event, very family friendly. Most years we took our families along too. They enjoyed the resort whilst we worked! So many wonderful memories were created.
Sadly Peebo the clown has passed away also. I’m sure Jayne and Peebo have been reunited and that Jayne is sipping on champagne whilst Peebo is clowning around up there with her! 💜
