The Ronin's Last

Created using Cinema4D and Adobe Photoshop with assets created in MidJourney heavily edited with adobe stock.
Been watching the amazing Sh**un and getting inspired plus the quiet time after busy time is a good time to get creative again. Really fun to just mull over and play with something outside of a deadline.

Receipts added!

I know it's everywhere and everyone is going on about it. It's been a weird year so far, dealing with the looming presence. It's output is both boring and utterly fascinating, it's a useful tool that I use everyday now in retouching, but it's also a huge unknown. I'm losing sleep over it sometimes and I'm saving time at others. The people that create it barely understand the capabilities so really I don't anyone knows what will happen.
I want to know though, and it's something that has been talked about verbatim, do the images and writing capture the x factor of human emotion? As any artist or ad person knows this is the most important part. I'm not sure. At least not yet, maybe next week.
Anyway here are some photos I took in Bankstown, with talent added with Photoshop gen fill.
Have a great weekend

Personal projects seem harder and harder to get across the line these days - your own standards improve, your work takes priority, a million things get in the way. This image was created for an incredible exhibition at Netherworld here in Brisbane, celebrating the work of FromSoftware(フロム・ソフトウェア) souls series. I wanted to capture the calm that these games give me, the quiet reflection and teachings we can take from their gameplay and inherent philosophy. This piece was printed big and framed beautifully and marks my first sold physical artwork at an exhibition. Thank you to whoever it was that purchased it immediately on opening night, I am forever grateful. Thank you to Jon Weber for putting on the show, and to Tim Grove for his timeless patience in teaching me 3d. The image was created first in Cinema 4d, then completed in with assets from stock and Midjourney AI
