Inspired by all the Top 10 Brooches of 2024 posts that have been springing up on my feed, I decided to look back at some my fave brooches I’ve made in the past year.

If you’ve added any of these to your own collection, or shared them with your brooch-loving family and friends thank you SO MUCH for your support 💗🥹

In no particular order:
✨Mini Iced Vovos - this was a special request for a customer who wanted to gift these nostalgic treats to the women in her family 🫶 I adore these so much!!
✨Rainbow Palette - this was a limited run design which I created for last May 🎨🖌️
✨The popular Beach Collection Towel and Sandcastle 🐚 - basically, when I first realised just how much fun I had creating Brooches. These sold out so quickly I had to restock 3 times!
✨The Succulent Garden - the original design was for statement necklaces, but there is one lucky Broochie out there with the only brooch version in the world🌏
✨Floral Envelopes - I completely underestimated how popular these would be(e) 🐝 Thank you for loving them as much as I did!
✨Whales 🐋 - inspired by my new fave market spot, Whale Mall at QLD Museum.
✨ Bookshelves - I slave over these to make sure each one is a completely unique design 📚 I think I’ve made about 70 of them since first releasing them in May last year 😱
✨Mini Scotch Fingers - my fave in both Brooch and Biscuit form 🤤
✨Hydrangeas - Made by special request. I lost count of how many individually placed flowers make up each one. I definitely think these will be due to return this year!

Most of these designs have long since sold out, but you’ll find a few still in stock on Etsy 🛍️👀 And, I have so many ideas on my list for new brooches, statement necklaces, earrings and gifts that I can’t wait to share with you!

This was such a nice way to end the market silly season. I got to trade in my very favourite spot under the whales, alongside some of my favourite stallie mates, and saw some of my favourite customers, now friends 💗😊

It still blows my mind that people enjoy what I create so much they’d spend their hard earned money with me, and gift Bicky Bop Designs to their family and friends. It’s exciting to think how many people will be receiving something I’ve made under their tree this Christmas 🥲
