Why doing it yourself is a high-risk gamble. đ°
Weâve all been there.
15 open tabs and hours spent comparing "deals."
You think youâve saved money, but what about the energy tax? đ
DIY booking is like building a house without an architect.
It looks fine until the foundation cracks.
A midnight flight cancellation.
A "wellness" hotel next to a loud construction site.
Spending your holiday fixing problems instead of resting.
Thatâs where I step in.
I am your invisible safety net. đĄď¸
I vet the locations and the tiny details you donât see.
I handle the contingencies so you can stay in your flow.
You stop managing.
You start experiencing. đż
I remove the friction so you can focus on the feeling.
Your time and your nervous system are your most valuable assets.
Have you ever had a DIY travel "win" turn into a headache? Iâd love to hear your story in the comments. đ

This morning I attempted to make âbarista-styleâ coffee at home.
Attempted being the key word here. âď¸
What I actually produced was somewhere between burnt disappointment and a very poor life decision.
So I did what many sensible Australians do:
I got in the car, drove to my favourite cafĂŠ, and let a professional handle it.
And while waiting for my coffee, it hit meâŚ
Travel is exactly the same.
Sure, technically you can book your own holiday online.
Just like I technically can make coffee.
But thereâs a big difference between:
âIt worksâ and âThis is exceptional.â
A great barista understands:
⢠balance
⢠timing
⢠texture
⢠taste
⢠and how to adjust everything to suit the person in front of them
A great personal travel manager does the same thing.
Because personalised travel isnât just about booking flights and hotels.
Itâs about understanding:
⢠how you like to travel
⢠what drains your energy
⢠your pace
⢠your comfort levels
⢠your travel style
⢠and what kind of experience you actually want to come home with
The best travel advisors are not just planners.
They are exceptional listeners.
We notice the details Google or AI never will.
Like:
⢠you hate rushed connections
⢠you need breathing space between destinations
⢠youâd choose boutique over busy every time
⢠you donât want to spend your holiday troubleshooting logistics
⢠and your idea of luxury is peace, ease and feeling looked after
Because honestly?
Life is too short for terrible coffeeâŚ
âŚand mediocre travel experiences.
If youâre thinking about Europe, Asia or a restorative wellness journey for 2026 and beyond, letâs create something far better than âgood enough.â

Ever noticed how âpersonalisedâ AI travel planning somehow gives everyone the exact same holiday?
Type:
â4 days in Paris. Boutique hotel. Great food.â
And suddenly you â along with 500,000 other travellers â are all:
đĽ eating the same croissant
đ¸ taking the same Eiffel Tower photo
đ˘ doing the same Seine cruise
â paying âŹ14 for the same hot chocolate
đ¨ staying in the same âboutique hotelâ with a bathroom approximately the size of a toaster
At this point, the algorithm is basically running a group tour.
And honestly? I love AI. I use it every day.
But most AI travel planning tools are not actually personalising your trip.
They are just very confidently summarising the internet.
There is a difference.
Because real travel personalisation is not:
âPeople who liked Paris also liked Barcelona.â
It is understanding:
⨠whether you want stimulation or stillness
⨠whether you hate rushed mornings
⨠whether your nervous system needs calm
⨠whether your idea of luxury is a rooftop champagne bar⌠or simply silence and uninterrupted sleep
Humans notice the details AI often misses.
Like:
⢠the âcute cobblestone streetâ becoming an accidental suitcase CrossFit session
⢠the âcentrally located hotelâ sitting directly above a nightclub called Electric Flamingo
⢠and the âeasy 45-minute connectionâ at Heathrow being what I personally classify as an Olympic endurance event
The funniest part?
People spend 14 hours researching travel online to âsave time.â
Meanwhile they end up with:
đť 37 browser tabs open
đ a spreadsheet called FINAL_ITINERARY_v9_ACTUAL_FINAL
đľ decision fatigue
â and stress levels requiring immediate European pastries
Your best travel experiences should not be built around what is popular.
They should be built around YOU.
Your pace.
Your energy.
Your version of luxury.
Because not everyone wants to âdo Paris or Barcelona or Rome.â
Some people simply want to feel like themselves again.
So ask yourself:
Are you looking for personalisationâŚ
or just a generic itinerary wrapped in clever marketing?
If your next journey deserves more than a glorified Top 10 list, letâs talk. â¨
