We’re at the Pregnancy Babies and Children's Expo this weekend 💛

Our Uniting Early Learning team will be at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre tomorrow and on Sunday — and we’d really love for you to stop by and say hello.

If you’re preparing for a new arrival or finding your way through those early years, come and have a chat with the team. We’re there to connect, answer questions, and share what matters to us in early learning.

We’ll also have our giveaway running across the weekend.

If you’re in that season of preparing (or just finding your feet), it’s a really supportive way to feel a little more confident along the way.

Active play is an important part of how children learn, grow and build confidence 💛🌿

Through a new weekly sports program by facilitated by Billy's Buddies at Uniting Early Learning Jahjumbeen , children are developing coordination, teamwork and resilience - all while having fun and exploring movement in a supported environment. ⚽✨

Partnerships like this help create rich, diverse learning experiences that support the whole child and reflect our commitment to quality early education.

On Mondays we now have a Sports Program run from Billy's Buddies, the class starts at 9.30am.
If you're looking to enrol your children, we also have spaces on a Monday - what a fun day at Jahjumbeen to be enrolled.

Fiona brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, and her care and passion truly shine through in everything she does. ✨
She is passionate about supporting her team to feel confident, valued and proud of the work they do - knowing that when educators feel supported, it creates better outcomes and experiences for children. 🌼

For Fiona, it’s all about creating a place where children feel safe, happy and inspired to learn 🤗 and where families feel comfortable, connected and part of the centre community. 💛

She’s looking forward to getting to know local families and building strong, meaningful relationships across the UEL Jahjumbeen community. 🌿✨

✨ Fun fact: Fiona began her career in a small country town and has worked across every role in early childhood — bringing a wealth of hands‑on experience into her role as Centre Director today.
