For her birthday, my client had one request: a Labyrinth-inspired nail set that captured all her favourite moments from the movie. The catch? She didn’t want extensions.

For some nail techs, detailed character-inspired nail art on short natural nails might feel limiting. For me, it didn’t even register as a challenge. 💅🏼

Together, we designed a set that celebrated the magic, nostalgia and weird little details she loves most about Labyrinth—from Ludo and the Fireys to the goblins, bubbles, and the unforgettable Goblin King. Every nail tells part of the story, without compromising on detail, despite the tiny canvas.

This is your reminder that you don’t need long extensions to have intricate, highly personalised nail art. Short nails deserve the spotlight too. ✨
