Rewind back to 5 months ago when I made the decision to put something creative out into the universe with my name on it. If we haven’t met yet, hi, I’m Carly - a self-proclaimed hot mess who tends to procrastinate a project out of fear of failure. Pair this with the fact that Mellow Dramatic is incidentally very personal and well…it had the potential to end up being a bloody fiasco.  But it didn’t!  Cut to today and I’ve curated, quality-checked, packaged, marketed and fulfilled almost 500 orders while working a full-time job alongside it all. Whilst I did 95% of this all on my own I’d like to thank: - My partner who still loves me even when I'm a cranky, hyper-focused zombie person - Vyvanse™ - All of the lovely people who reposted a picture of their order, wrote a review, sent me a sweet little thank you message or came to see me at my first market  And last but not least: myself, because my psychologist would be furious if I didn’t at least show some self-compassion (look at me learning). You’ll notice I’ve gotten rid of Etsy, mainly because of their extortionate fees and lack of ethics. All orders made this week will go out tomorrow morning in the post. Thanks so much for your support. I’ll be back in early 2024 with so many pretty new things and a shiny new website to go with it. BRB 💖
