We’ve loved getting our hands on a smorgasbord of premium equipment from which powers all of Orange Sky’s mobile laundry and shower services across Australia and New Zealand. 

This hybrid laundry/shower van includes 400Ah of lithium heavy duty batteries, a 2000W inverter and Total Vehicle Management System for reliable and user-friendly control and monitoring of the system. The batteries are charged simultaneously from rooftop solar panels, the vehicle’s alternator feed and by plugging in to a standard power point.

Today we find Rylan the all-rounder turning his hand to plumbing. This vehicle carries 300L of fresh water supplying showers and washing machines, with the waste water pumped under the vehicle to the waste tank. After a day rolling around in grey water, he’ll be happy to return to electrician duties on Monday.
