Community Plus+ Annerley Community Hub
06/07/2026
For over 15 years, Melinda McInturff has been at the heart of community-led recovery and resilience in Yeronga.
Her connection to this work began long before the 2022 flood & Rainfall event, through her role in establishing and supporting the Yeronga recovery hub in the 2011 Flood, creating a strong foundation of trust, local knowledge, and community connection.
When the floods impacted Brisbane in 2022, Melindaβs leadership was instrumental. She led the Yeronga Centre through a period of crisis and recovery, helping to mobilise early response efforts, and guiding the program as it grew into a sustained, community-led recovery initiative.
Across her time with CP+, Melinda has brought deep commitment, compassion, and a strong belief in the power of communities to lead their own recovery. Her work has supported hundreds of individuals and families to rebuild, reconnect, and strengthen their resilience.
As Melinda concludes her time with CP+, we extend our sincere thanks for her leadership, dedication, and lasting contribution. Her impact will continue to be felt in the communities she has supported and in the legacy of the program she helped shape.
