A look inside our Creative Therapies space 🎨

From art materials and music to sensory activities, journalling, storytelling, and creative exercises, Creative Therapies at Fortify are designed to support different ways people express themselves, connect, and engage in therapy.

Some sessions might involve painting or music, others might look more reflective, hands-on, creative, or conversation-based depending on the person, the mood, and what feels most comfortable that day. The space has been set up to feel calm, creative, and welcoming, with activities and approaches tailored around each person’s needs, goals, and interests.

Sessions are delivered by qualified clinicians, including registered art therapists where appropriate, and form part of Fortify’s broader mental health and psychosocial supports. Eligibility currently applies to clients receiving services through Brisbane South PHN mental health programs within the region.
