We are incredibly excited to share that BPA Dance Studio has been named a 2026 Local Business Awards Finalist for Brisbane City.

This recognition means so much because it reflects the support of our amazing community. Every family who has trusted us with their child, every student who walks through our doors each week, every teacher who pours their heart into what they do, and everyone who took the time to nominate and support us has helped make this possible.

BPA has always been about more than dance. It’s about building confidence, friendships, resilience and a place where every student feels they belong. To have that recognised by our local community is something we are truly grateful for.

Starting something new can feel overwhelming. New teachers. New friends. New routines. New expectations.

For some children, walking into a new class takes a huge amount of courage and sometimes the hardest part is simply showing up long enough to feel comfortable.

That's why we encourage parents to give children time to settle in. Because some of our most confident dancers started out as the quietest students in the room.

If your child feels nervous during their first few weeks of dance, they're not alone. We see it, we understand it, and we've got them.
