The research team are looking for young people aged 14-18 years and/or parents, grandparents and carers of a child who have had an ambulance attend within the past few years.

DETAILS:
💬 Join a research team that is working to better understand ambulance attendances for children aged 0-17 years in WA
â—½No previous research experience, healthcare experience or scientific knowledge is required.
â—½You need to be a parent, grandparent or carer of a child who had an ambulance attend in Western Australia on or after 1 January 2024, regardless of whether the child was transported to hospital
And/Or
â—½You need to be a young person currently aged 14-18 years who personally required an ambulance attendance in Western Australia on or after 1 January 2024
â—½You will be paid for your time

This research project aims to develop a new eye treatment approach for inherited retinal diseases (IRDs), a group of genetic eye conditions that can lead to progressive vision loss and blindness in children and adults. The Curtin Research team are seeking 4-6 people to join a Consumer Advisory Group for this research project.

DETAILS:
💬 Join a research team that is working on understanding the real-world needs, concerns and priorities of individuals and families affected by vision loss.
â—½You will need to have lived, or community experience related to inherited retinal disease, childhood blindness, or vision impairment
â—½You will be paid for your time
â—½Support and guidance will be provided to all members

The research team would like to involve two people with lived experience of melanoma to work with them as Research Buddies. Research Buddies will meet with the team a couple of times per year to provide a lived experience perspective on the research programme.

DETAILS:

💬Join a research team that is working on melanoma progression

â—½You must have lived experience of melanoma yourself, or as the carer of someone with melanoma

â—½You will meet with the research team twice per year

â—½Meetings will be held on the Curtin Bentley Campus or online
