The Man is a tune that was originally co-written with Michael Jensz and ended up being played acoustically at open-mic nights in the early 2000’s. It went on a bit of a journey before being arranged as the electro rock pop song it is now.

We filmed this video at our friend and bandmate, new rental in Preston. There are some serious 70’s vibes to the decor! A massive thank you to .cammarano for filming and editing the video. And thanks to Mark Stanley for a great recording and mix on the track.

Humane is a Melbourne-based gothic alt-rock band known for their captivating live performances, rich in musical depth and dynamic energy. Their sound blends the atmospheric tones of Pink Floyd, the raw power of Soundgarden, and the electric energy of Muse. With punchy guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and introspective lyrics, Humane resonates with both classic and modern rock lovers. Their live shows are immersive journeys, capturing the intensity and emotion of their music.
Catch them live at Bar Open in Fitzroy on Friday, March 14th. They’ll be joined by Chaise Egan, a powerhouse vocalist and guitarist playing an emotive blend of alternative covers, acoustic renditions from his melodic metal band Armoured Earth, and his original material. Opening the night will be Abraham Kenny, founding member of Humane, now a solo artist who spent over a decade in the Baltic States. Based in the abandoned concert hall Linnahall, he became a cult underground figure. His set blends analogue drum machines, live drumming, synths, electric guitars, and vocals to set the stage for an unforgettable night of music.
