Make sure your rats are keeping cool in this heat!

Activities like pea fishing are great for that 😌

Frozen cans in the cage can be good too. Just make sure to run them under water before hand so any tongues don’t stick to the can should they lick them.

Be sure to look out for signs of heat stress which include drooling, lethargy, weakness and high body temperature .
Rats will pancake themselves out to try and cool off, or lay on their back with legs up in the air.

Make sure you are doing what you can to prevent heart stress, and to keep them cool.
