🧿 Festival of Bowls – Open Pairs Update 🧿

What a massive day of bowls! The first bowl was sent down at 9:30am, and the last bowl finally came to rest at 7:15pm after an action-packed day on the greens.

In Section 1, Mick Hewitt & Jenny Anthony Ashenden and Paul Harding & Jackson Harding have both gone through the day undefeated, putting themselves in a strong position heading into the final day.

Section 2 is incredibly tight, with three teams all sitting on four wins:

Josh van Haaren & Pat Coburn
Ray Dienelt & Les Carter
Scott Pinchbeck & Phillip Ryan

There are three more rounds to be played tomorrow, with the top two teams from each section advancing to the semi-finals.

A huge thank you to Karen Garfath for once again providing lunch for everyone. Your generosity and hard work are greatly appreciated by all the players and volunteers, and you help make the Festival such a welcoming event.
