Redland Rhapsody Chorus

One of the wonderful things about being part of SingUnited is that no matter where life takes you, there’s often a welcoming chorus ready to help you feel at home.

That’s exactly what has happened with the lovely Frances, who has made the move from Vocal Vibes Chorus in Victoria to the beautiful Redlands.

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Frances to Redland Rhapsody Chorus. She sings both Lead and Baritone, but our Leads were quick to snap her up! (And we’re quietly delighted that she also brings costume expertise from her previous chorus!)

In the words of our fabulous Director, Wease Brannon: "It takes a village." And she's absolutely right.

This week at rehearsal, we celebrated our TEAMS!

People often see us on stage looking fabulous, singing in harmony and making it all look effortless.

What they don't see is the army of volunteers behind the scenes making sure everything actually happens!

The secret? Every member belongs to one or more teams. That's right, nobody escapes! Whether you're crunching numbers, sewing costumes, selling raffle tickets, organising events, creating learning tracks, managing spreadsheets or solving tech dramas, everyone pitches in.

Beyond our Board of Directors, we have teams for Music, Membership (and all its sub-teams!), Marketing & Fundraising, Finance, Assessment, Technology, Visionary, Visual, Costume and Make-up... and probably a few people quietly fixing problems before the rest of us even know they exist. 😆

So here's a big shout-out to the people who keep the wheels turning, the lights on, the costumes zipped, the emails sent and the chorus moving forward.

Because while we may be a chorus of singers, we're also event planners, marketers, accountants, costume designers, IT support and occasional miracle workers!
