My kinda gal!

Photographer Catherine Leroy on a patrol in 1967, Vietnam. She was so dedicated to her job, she made a combat jump with the 173rd AB during operation Junction City, making her the first accredited photographer of the war to jump in a combat zone. She was wounded while on patrol with a Marine unit near the DMZ. In 1968, during the Tet Offensive, Leroy was captured by the North Vietnamese Army. She managed to talk her way out (without pulling a Fonda) and emerged as the first newsperson to take photos of NVA Regulars behind their own lines. Besides balls and no f***s, she also took some of the most iconic photos of the conflict. Here is your equality people.
