Dear Riders,
Despite all our efforts to give Unity a second chance, we have faced ongoing financial challenges and other obstacles that have made it impossible to continue. As most of you know, the school will close permanently at the end of the month. We find great comfort in knowing that all our school horses have been sold to wonderful people and will be well taken care of.
It has undoubtedly been hard work, exhausting, and overwhelming at times… But seeing you learn, improve, and build relationships with our beautiful horses was so worth it. I have no regrets and am deeply grateful for James, Caroline, Andrew, and Danielle’s trust and opportunity. I have learned so much from my time here, and I will always feel lucky and honoured to have been part of this experience with you all.
I would like to thank you all so much for your trust and support over the past 6 months. Your kind words have meant the world to me, your smiles have brightened the darkest moments, and I believe the friendships developed will survive far beyond Unity. I also want to thank the wonderful people that I have closely worked with over the past 6-months: Jeff, for being our superhero, magically building and fixing everything; Lilli, for being such a lovely addition to the team, bringing something new with her natural horsemanship skills; Leah & Tia, for being incredibly reliable, always showing up to feed and take care of the horses; James & Caroline for their guidance, advice, help with all the administrative tasks and their infallible support.
A heartfelt thank you to the professionals who have played a crucial role in caring for our horses: our farrier, Riley; our physio, Mitch; and the wonderful veterinary team at TRH Equine.
Of course, I’m deeply grateful to my partner, Tyler, for his constant support and to my dear friends (you know who you are!) for their daily help, advice, and encouragement. Your support has meant the world to me.
I truly hope the closure of this chapter won’t be the end of your passion. Wherever you go next, keep on learning, enjoy horses and always put your animal’s welfare first.
All the best,
Jeanne

Unity is seeking a passionate and experienced horse riding coach to join our team. This part-time role offers some flexibility in hours, but availability for afternoon lessons (after school) and Saturday mornings or afternoons is required.
The ideal candidate needs to be patient, knowledgeable and will have prior coaching experience and a genuine enjoyment of working with both children and adults. A profound love for horses and a commitment to their well-being are crucial.
If you are enthusiastic about helping others develop their riding skills while ensuring the best care for our horses, we would love to hear from you!
