Today is International Women in Engineering Day.

This year's theme, Engineering Intelligence, recognises the women applying creativity, insight and courage to solve complex challenges and help shape stronger communities.

At MLEI, women represent 27.8% of our workforce across engineering, environmental specialists and corporate services. We are committed to creating opportunities for women to build rewarding careers, develop their expertise and contribute to the future of our profession.

We are proud to celebrate the women across our team whose expertise, leadership and diverse perspectives strengthen the decisions we make and the outcomes we deliver every day.

Thank you for the contribution you make to our projects, our clients and the communities we help shape.

Happy International Women in Engineering Day.

The North Kirra coastline is one of the Gold Coast's most iconic coastal environments, and we're proud to be partnering with Lacey Groupon the Bilinga project.

Our environmental team MRA, now part of MLEI, has delivered a comprehensive Waste Management Plan to support the responsible and sustainable delivery of this exciting foreshore development.

Effective waste management is a key component of environmental stewardship, helping to minimise impacts, maximise resource recovery, and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

We're looking forward to seeing this project take shape and contribute to the future of the North Kirra community.

Three years. One approval. A site like no other.

Bilinga. Direct esplanade frontage overlooking North Kirra.

We've spent three years creating a design worthy of a location this rare. Council approval is now secured. The wait was worth it.

Something iconic is coming to Pacific Parade.

The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is now open, and itโ€™s more than just a pool.

Behind the scenes, this project challenged the way we deliver aquatic infrastructure. With construction moving while design continued to evolve, it required constant collaboration, clear communication and trust across the entire project team.

A key part of that success was the project teams leadership, whose ability to connect architecture, engineering and construction kept everything moving forward with confidence.

From advanced water filtration systems to fully integrated pool shell design, every detail was considered to deliver long-term performance, efficiency and user experience.

Now complete, the Centre stands as a sustainable, future-focused facility for South Australia, built to be used, enjoyed and relied on for generations.
