The Darlington Upgrade Project recently introduced a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) as part of their ongoing focus to improving safety.

TMA’s are attached to a vehicle and act as a “crash cushion”.

They can be used at short to medium term maintenance or construction works where it’s not practical to close the road or install safety barriers.
