Service Expansion Announcement – Aquatic Equine Response Units

In an exciting evolution of our sporting coverage capabilities, Event Medical Plus is proud to announce the rollout of our new Water Polo Response Teams… on horseback.

That’s right. We’re making a splash with: Aquatic Equine Response Units (AERU™) – combining the agility of water rescue with the raw power of horses who are kind of okay with being submerged.

Each AERU is:
- Specially trained in shallow-end navigation
- Outfitted with inflatable horseshoes
- Accompanied by a lifeguard with a strong sense of optimism

Key advantages:
- Faster response times in chlorinated environments
- Height advantage in spectator rescue scenarios
- Significant crowd engagement and morale boost

While logistics remain a work in progress (particularly getting the horses into the pool without using the diving board), we are confident this is the future of aquatic event medicine.
