DYS are back to host an open mic night this Thursday 21st May at 6pm at accessible venue
This event is a completely low-pressure welcoming environment. Whether you have a polished piece you’ve been nursing for months or a rant you literally just typed into your phone, the mic is yours to share.
Come grab a drink, support some local brave souls, and remind yourself how good it is to connect with creatives in the community.
Sign-ups start at the door. Bring your words, or just your selves. We have incredible local artists that need to be heard. Featuring Poet TJ who has important stories to share, and opening the event for us.

On the 5th of Nov we welcome the incredible feature poet Sin A.D. AKA
If your ears are yet to hear their poetry, then you my friends, are in for an absolute treat.
Sin (they/them) is a Lebanese emerging poet in diaspora, currently residing on Kaurna Yarta.
Their work primarily focuses on cultural ties, resistance, Arab grief and spirituality, as well as themes regarding beauty, Q***rness, and neurodivergence.
