Are you planning activities for a National Science Week activity for your students? SA teachers and school students are invited to participate in the Adelaide Optics Chapter 2026 Scientific Photo Competition!

Open to Year 5 - Year 12 students, it is free to enter and submissions can be made by a class, group or individual.

Participants in this program will explore science in the world around us. By using a camera, students will capture an image of natural sciences. Students will accompany the image with a 100-word blurb
on what makes this science exciting, fascinating, or important.

With a range of prize categories across age and demographic groups!

Come and visit the team and learn about our range of research and evidence-based professional services: including Maths in Schools Professional Learning, CSER STEM Professional Learning on Digital Technologies, AI and Cyber Security as well as the wonderful range of resources available from our National Lending Library!

We also invite you to join our team at a ConnectEd conversation - 'AI in primary and secondary schools: Where are we now, and where do we want to go?'. Located in the ConnectEd space at stand 1200, (opposite the CSER stand) at 1:30pm on Day 2 (4th June).
