Introducing my latest addition:
Hazelnut Basque Tart
This one is literally something else.
A pastry of ground hazelnuts with predominantly egg white is a play on Dacquoise with hazelnut pâtissier crème and a topping of the same crust. When I came across ‘s recipe with pistachios I just had to adapt it using hazelnuts - my favourites!
Utterly silky, with a mini meringue like topping- just divine.
Go on treat yourself !

Baked Apple Cheesecake with a touch of Caramel. Its cinnamon baked apple layer is topped with cheesecake, almonds and more thinly sliced caramelised apples …
And the S’mores Tart is coming back onto the rotation.

S‘mores and more S‘mores
was yesterdays theme in the Tart Noir kitchen. Meringue was everywhere …. 🤣
Rhubarb Crumble, you smelled, looked and tasted incredible. But this hazelnut praline chocolate number, topped with sweet roasted marshmallow did indeed steal the show. (only marginally)
Who thinks this needs to be on the rotation very soon again ?? Let‘s hear it below ⬇️⬇️
Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday and picked up some tarts and enjoyed them with friends and family.
