🚒👏 Have you spotted the new tankers rolling out across South Australia lately?

These new 34 appliances are providing CFS volunteers with modern, safer and more capable trucks to help protect their local communities. With enhanced firefighter safety systems, improved crew comfort and upgraded firefighting capability, they're a welcome addition to brigades across the state.

Recent deliveries have included new tankers for Willunga, Lameroo, Tanunda, Jervois and Bridgewater, complete with rear-seat air conditioning to help keep crews comfortable during those long, hot summer days and nights.

A big shout out to Northeast Isuzu & Iveco, a major sponsor of the CFS Foundation, whose ongoing support helps strengthen the resources available to South Australian CFS volunteers. Fraser Fire and Rescue the new build looks good 😎

The new tankers also replace older appliances that will now be refurbished and redeployed to other brigades, ensuring even more volunteers across South Australia benefit from upgraded equipment.

💚 Supporting the wellbeing of our volunteers 💚

On Sunday, our Wellbeing Officer Jana Wurriehausen delivered a Mental Health First Aid Refresher course at Strath!

The course helps CFS volunteers build confidence in recognising when someone may be struggling and provides practical skills to support their fellow members.

Thank you to everyone who attended and continues to make wellbeing a priority within their brigade. 🚒👏
