Designing table centrepieces is about so much MORE than pulling together a moodboard of beautiful items.

For this wedding, we intentionally designed every table differently.

The result?
- A space that felt cohesive as a whole, while giving guests something new to discover wherever they sat.

Creating that balance requires careful consideration of proportion, scale, colour, texture and height. It’s knowing which items work together, how floral arrangements should sit within the room, and how candlelight can be incorporated safely and effectively.

It’s also about functionality. Centrepieces need to complement the dining experience, not compete with it. They must allow room for shared food, maintain clear sightlines for conversation, and feel appropriately scaled to both the table and the venue.

The details matter, but great tablescape design comes from understanding how every element works together — aesthetically, practically and safely — to create an atmosphere that feels effortless.
