Another Strong Result for Luke Dillon!
Night two at Geraldton City Speedway, was yet again a successful night for the Luke Dillon, Diamond Bay Motorsport pairing.
The night started off strong, with an impressive second place in qualifying, timing in at 13.132. This resulted in the Geotech, Devil Race Karts W26 progressing from P3 in heat one.
The track was technical, with almost every car finishing where they began. This third place result for Dillon would gather him enough points to start from third in A Dash.
The dash track conditions were comparable to that of the heat race. Minimal passing and a tight grip strip, meant Dillon would settle for third in this event - positioning the Diamond Bay Motorsport Sprintcar in fifth for the 30-lap A-main event.
Dillon drove an exceptional and thrilling drive, finding the upper groove and utilising it to gain ground on the lead cars. Before long, Dillon found himself in third place charging for second. Dillon slid his way into second on lap 12. This would be where the W26 would eventually finish.
The team has some extremely exciting news, which will be announced in the coming days.
