Mawson Lakes has unveiled plans for a $35 million expansion including the creation of a new junior school.

The Lakeside Project has been designed by Arkvale Architects as a unique, contemporary, strikingly innovative 3 storey learning environment and includes a footbridge over Mawson Lakes Boulevard connecting the junior and senior campuses.

Principal Richard Baird said the transformative development would elevate the school’s education offerings and facilities to new heights.

“With a focus on sustainability, technology and innovation, we will inspire and support students from the very start of their school journey within a values-based and nurturing environment,” Mr Baird said.

Up to an additional 378 students, across two learning streams, will be welcomed as part of the first junior and primary school intake in January 2027.
