Back in time (350 million years, to be precise),
Along the Karrawirra Pari,
To the dance island party,
Around the world,
… and into classrooms, ovals, farms, and even the rubbish bin… (stay tuned for that one!)
Thank you to everyone for another fantastic year. The Monkeystack studios are closed for the holidays from 18th December, back on 5th January 2026.
“Sometimes how we feel on the inside does not match what we show on the outside” was all the brief that we needed to bring this powerful program to life through animation.
We’re proud to help express the stories, emotions and sentiment alongside Flinders University with Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation and Little Heroes Foundation.

New work from 350 million years ago!
Monkeystack produced 3D animations to visualise Flinders University’s outstanding discovery of fossilised footprints - the oldest evidence in the world of a reptile-like animal walking around on land.
Working closely with the project team of subject matter experts, we created 3D animated scenes of the four-legged Amniote moving through a Prehistoric Carboniferous Forest environment complete with weather elements, bringing the story and scientific significance of the animal’s tracks to life.
