Health doesn't happen in a vacuum. It’s influenced by where we live, how we work, and how connected we feel to our community.
Whether it’s linking a patient with community support or identifying stress-related physical symptoms, a GP sees the person, not just the pathology - and we're proud to support GPs with the resources to look beyond the script and support the whole patient.

Supporting people living with dementia, autism or a cognitive impairment who might be at risk of becoming lost or reported as missing, Safe & Found allows Police immediate access to critical information to assist when undertaking search operations. 📍
An initiative powered by MedicAlert Foundation Australia that we're beyond proud to be supporting. Find out more about this inspiring project at - www.safeandfound.org.au

In a fragmented healthcare system, your GP is the medical anchor. They don’t just refer you to a specialist; they collate the advice, manage the medications, and ensure your treatment plan makes sense for your life.
AGPN supports the systems and technologies that allow GPs to remain the central point of truth for every patient. 💙

Ladies - this is your friendly reminder to check your breasts!
Despite free breast screening being available to women over 40 in every Australian state, fewer than 6 in 10 women are getting screened.
If you’re eligible, book your mammogram today - and remind the women in your life to do the same. Early detection saves lives.

With the introduction of FluMist, Australian GPs now have a needle-free option to help protect children aged 2–17 against influenza. It’s about more than just convenience; it’s about reducing barriers to care and ensuring every family has a positive experience at their local clinic. 🛡️
While you're looking after the little ones, don't forget to look after yourself too. Parents and caregivers are the backbone of a healthy home - talk to your GP about your own seasonal protection so you can stay at your best through the winter months. 🩺

Our mission is simple and our focus is always on you.
We empower GPs to advocate for a healthier Australia by improving access to essential services, advocating for streamlined national initiatives like cancer screening registers, and ensuring better health outcomes for all.

Here at the Australian General Practice Network, we work alongside the Immunisation Coalition Roche Diagnostics, GSK, and local General Practices to reduce the impact of respiratory disease here in Australia.
We do this through education, outreach, and on-the-ground pilot programs using verified PCR rapid testing, especially helping aged care residents, veterans, childcare centres, and community groups stay informed and connected.

Did you know that in Australia, General Practitioners are accredited specialists? 🎓 Beyond medical school, GPs undergo years of rigorous training and multiple exams to provide "whole-of-person" care.
At AGPN, we are proud to support these highly trained specialists who serve as the frontline of the Australian healthcare system. 🩺

A GP doesn’t just see you when you’re sick - they keep you from getting sick in the first place.
From managing complex chronic conditions like diabetes to spotting early warning signs of cancer, the GP-patient partnership is the foundation of a long, healthy life. 🩺💙

Did you know that high breast density can make it harder to spot cancer on a standard mammogram? We have successfully advocated for breast density to be included in screening reports so women can better understand their risks.
Knowledge is power - talk to your GP about what your results mean for you. 🌸
