One week ago the University of Adelaide AAPG Student Chapter Field Trip to Kangaroo Island was well under way. Led by Prof. Peter Moore of Curtin University, we were shown the enigmatic story of a shallow marine Cambrian basin and spent plenty of time hunting for the famous trilobite fossils of the Emu Bay Shale in the sunshine. A fantastic time by all accounts - big thank you to everyone involved.
