This is what you should be able to do as a minimum for each division. We are doing this to ensure fair yet competitive competition. Think of this as a guide not only to your own ability but also to what to expect from your opponents. 🤝

💪STEEL AND STONE – TOURNAMENT FORMAT💪

Steel and Stone will run as a head-to-head bracket format rather than a standard points leaderboard.
With 4 athletes competing across 3 rounds, every athlete will complete all events, including the final Stone Off.

Round 1 – Opening Matchups 🏋‍♂️

Athlete vs Athlete in the first round of competition.
Winners move to the winners side of the bracket, while the remaining athletes move to the opposite side.

Round 2 – Placement Matchups 🔩

Matchups are reset based on Round 1 results.

Winners face winners, and loosers face loosers,
Thus determining the final placements for the Stone off of final!

Round 3 – Stone Off Finals 🪨

All athletes compete in the final round.

The top matchup will decide 1st and 2nd place.
The second matchup will decide 3rd and 4th place.

This format ensures every round matters, while giving all athletes the opportunity to compete through all three events.

Move n Deadlift 🏋‍♂️

20m Farmers Carry
5 Deadlifts (from floor)
20m Farmers Carry
5 Axle Deadlifts

Head-to-head racing under fatigue. Grip, speed, and composure all under pressure.
First athlete to complete the full sequence wins the matchup and advances. No pacing, no hiding just move or get left behind.

Event 2 🔩🔩
Floor to Overhead

Dumbbell = 1 point
Barbell = 2 points
Log Press = 5 points

Accumulate as many points as possible within the time cap.
Choose your strategy:
Fast and consistent with dumbbells
Controlled barbell work for steady points
Or go all-in on the log for big swings
Every rep counts.

Event 3 🪨🪨🪨
Stone Off
Atlas Stone over Yoke

Shared stone. Head-to-head exchange.
No tacky. No rest advantage. No escape.
Back and forth under heavy fatigue until one athlete can no longer return the stone. The last athlete standing in the exchange wins the matchup.

Heavy. Fast. Relentless.
Steel and Stone isn’t about surviving,it’s about who breaks first, and who doesn’t.
