Over 10 years ago, Mattaes started seeing Jim at The Vision & Learning Institute for help with one eye operating at 30 percent capacity and turning in. He was staring down the barrel of a thicker and thicker lenses and no hope of playing sport at a high level. I know when I first started working here I didn't think I was a suitable candidate and now I wouldn't be without them. After trying dailies I am now wearing lenses which I can keep in for up to a month without changing. It did take me a while to get use to putting the contacts in and taking them out but it is worth the perseverance and my number one tip is to not be in a rush and remember they can not get lost in your eye.
