✨ Do you see this lash?

This is one of my favourite things to find during a refill appointment.

This client has come back for a 4-week refill, and what you’re looking at is a natural lash that has moved from the catagen stage into the telogen stage of the lash cycle.

The extension is still attached beautifully, but the natural lash is now ready to shed.

Honestly, it looks so cute. 🥹

Many people think a refill is simply adding more extensions.

It’s not.

A professional refill starts with checking every grown-out extension, identifying lashes that are ready to shed, and safely removing them before applying new extensions.

At 4 weeks, it’s completely normal to see some lashes reaching the end of their natural cycle.

This is actually a healthy sign.

It means the natural lash cycle is working exactly as it should.

The extension didn’t “fall off.”

The natural lash has simply done its job and is preparing to make room for a new healthy lash to grow.

That’s why I always take the time to remove these grown-out lashes before starting the refill.

Not because retention is poor.

But because natural lash health always comes first.

A beautiful lash set isn’t measured by how many extensions are left.

It’s measured by how healthy the natural lashes remain underneath.

Your extensions are temporary.

Your natural lashes are forever. ❤️

🚨 The Real Test of a Lash Artist Isn’t How Full the Set Looks.

It’s what the natural lashes look like AFTER the extensions are removed.

Recently, a client decided she no longer wanted her handmade Mega Volume lashes and asked for a completely different style.

So I removed the entire set.

And do you know what I saw?

✨ Strong natural lashes.
✨ Healthy lash line.
✨ No bald spots.
✨ No broken lashes.

That is the result of proper isolation and correct application.

Many people judge a lash set while it’s on.

I judge my work when it comes off.

Because if your client’s natural lashes are damaged after months or years of extensions, something went wrong along the way.

For me, my clients’ natural lashes are my income.

Without healthy natural lashes, there is nothing to attach extensions to.

That’s why I never chase speed over quality.

Every lash is isolated.
Every extension is attached to one natural lash only.
Every appointment follows my 3 NOs standard:
❌ No skin contact
❌ No stickies
❌ No baby lashes

A beautiful lash set is temporary.

Healthy natural lashes are the true result of a great lash artist. ❤️
