One week of movement snacks — are you in? 🍎👟
This Exercise Right Week, we’re challenging you to add one tiny burst of movement to each day. No gym needed. No special equipment. Just small, simple habits that add up to big results over time.
Our Exercise Physiologists know that the secret to long-term health isn’t one massive effort — it’s consistent, everyday movement. And the good news? Even 5–10 minutes counts. 💚
Save this post and try one each day this week 👆
🙋 We’re also now taking new referrals for Exercise Physiology! Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from injury, or just want expert guidance on moving better — our EPs are here for you

Exercise science has come a long way — but outdated myths still influence how many people move, train, and recover. 🍃
Our Exercise Physiologists are here to set the record straight on 6 of the most persistent exercise misconceptions:
✔️ Discomfort and pain are not the same thing
✔️ Short bouts of movement have measurable health benefits
✔️ Strength training is evidence-based medicine for women
✔️ Recovery is where adaptation actually happens
Swipe through for the full breakdown ➡️
Whether you’re managing a health condition, returning to exercise, or simply want to move smarter — working with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist means your program is grounded in evidence, not gym folklore.
We currently have capacity for new referrals — get in touch to find out how we can help.

Chronic pain management isn’t just about reducing pain — it’s about restoring confidence, capacity, and control.
Our Exercise Physiologists play a key role by:
✔ Identifying pain trends and flare-up triggers
✔ Collaborating with Physiotherapists to screen for red & yellow flags
✔ Understanding stage of injury and tissue tolerance
✔ Providing safe, graded exposure to movement
✔ Building confidence with movement again
✔ Exploring external factors like sleep, stress & fatigue
✔ Addressing psychosocial barriers impacting exercise
Pain is complex — which is why collaborative, informed care matters.
When EPs, Physios, Support Coordinators and support teams work together, participants are better supported to move safely and sustainably.

Swallowing is something many of us take for granted, but it’s actually a complex life skill that requires the coordination of many muscles in the head and neck.
From smelling your food, to chewing, and finally swallowing, around 30 muscles work together to make it happen.
When one or more of these muscles aren’t working as they should, swallowing can become difficult and even exhausting.
That’s where Speech Pathologists can help. From assessments and reports to practical strategies, they support people with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) and help determine what foods and drinks are safe to consume.
Reach out to MPOT on 1300 368 141 to organise a swallowing assessment.
